Real training. Real progress.
Build practical martial arts skills, improve your fitness, and challenge yourself in a welcoming environment where coaching and progress matter.
More than a workout. Something worth working toward.
Whether you’re trying martial arts for the first time or returning after time away, REAL offers a place to learn, improve, and keep challenging yourself. The goal is not simply to get through a workout. It’s to develop skills you can be proud of.
You don’t have to be in great shape to start. Our coaches help you build from where you are, with clear instruction, appropriate challenges, and a community that takes training seriously without taking itself too seriously.

Get stronger. Get skilled. Keep growing.
Real martial arts training creates opportunities to improve physically, mentally, and personally.
Practical martial arts skills
Learn striking and Jiu Jitsu through technical instruction, repetition, and progressive application.
Fitness with a purpose
Build coordination, conditioning, strength, and mobility while working toward something tangible.
Confidence through competence
Develop confidence from practice, honest feedback, and seeing what you can actually do.
A community worth showing up for
Train with other adults who value effort, respect, and steady improvement.

Striking and Jiu Jitsu.
REAL Adults combines technical instruction with progressive practice. Beginners build a foundation; experienced students continue refining their skills and taking on new challenges.
Learn punches, kicks, defense, footwork, and combinations through coached drills, pad work, and partner training suited to your experience.
Develop positional awareness, escapes, control, and grappling skills through technical practice and appropriate resistance.
As your skills develop, training introduces greater complexity and pressure. We emphasize safe practice, control, and earned progress.
Good coaching. Real expectations.
You deserve more than a room full of people following a workout. Our coaches teach, observe, correct, and help you understand not just what to do, but why it works.
We welcome different ages, backgrounds, and experience levels while holding everyone to the same basic standard: show up, participate, respect your training partners, and keep working to improve.
Your progress should mean something.
Training at REAL is designed to build ability over time. Rank and advancement reflect demonstrated skill, consistency, and readiness rather than simply time spent in class.
You can train for personal development, fitness, practical skills, or the challenge itself. Whatever brings you in, we’ll help you find meaningful goals to work toward.

What adults ask before starting.
Do I need any martial arts experience?
Not at all. Beginners are welcome, and experienced students can continue developing their skills. We help you work at an appropriate level.
Do I need to be in shape before I start?
No. You can build fitness as you train. Let your coach know about any limitations so they can help you participate appropriately.
What martial arts do you teach?
Our adult program includes striking and Jiu Jitsu. Both emphasize technique, control, and progressive development.
Will I have to spar or grapple at full intensity?
Training progresses with experience and readiness. We emphasize safe, controlled practice and appropriate resistance rather than throwing new students into high-pressure situations.
Is there an age limit for adults?
The program is designed for ages 16 and up. Adults start at different ages and fitness levels; the best way to assess fit is to meet us and try an intro.
